Background:

Tamahome has two exceptional qualities: he is loyal and strong-hearted. It seems though that his heart is hopelessly divided between the two things he loves most: Miaka and money.

Even so, Tamahome's money-making schemes have a reason behind them. He gives the money he earns to his family, a sick father and four younger siblings, who are in need of his support.

When enraged he is able to call upon extra chi from within which gives him incredible strength and abilities This usually is the case when someone is trying to insult, rape, or kill Miaka. Or when someone hurts his family. He's an exceptional fighter, trained by Tokaki, one of the seven Byakko seishi.

Tamahome is not really one of my faves. He's WAY too noble. But he is cute!
